Children’s National Medical Center, First Ladies Exhibit
Children’s National Medical Center has provided healthcare for children for more than 140 years in the nation’s capital. In 2017, GGI was commissioned to create a display giving honor to each of the First Ladies of the United States of America who have shown support to the hospital and patients throughout the years.
Each display shares an image of the First Lady, years served, a personal tribute to the hospital and a brief bio. In addition to the high quality resolution, the Alice® direct to glass printing process will make it easy for the client to add to this series as each new First Lady is paid tribute.
The glass configuration includes Alice® direct-to-glass printing on 1/4" ultra-clear low-Iron tempered glass using custom artwork and text furnished by client.
