Emory Musculoskeletal Institute Patient Registration

Emory Musculoskeletal Institute Patient Registration

The Emory Musculoskeletal Institute is a 190,000 SF newly constructed medical facility designed by HKS Architects in Atlanta. GGI furnished the decorative glass partitions in the patient registration area which incorporates a skeletal artwork design and blue fade. In addition, themed Alice® glass wall cladding  was utilized on each floor to create a dramatic wayfinding experience for patients as soon as the elevator doors open on each floor. The decorative glass partitions are 9/16" OA laminated glass with the Alice® direct-to-glass printed artwork. This multifunctional glass configuration serves to reduce sound transmitted while also providing physical and visual separation for the patients checking into the facility. The upper area of each panel is ultra-clear low iron glass with a continuation of the skeletal design allowing plenty of light to be shared between each space.
