Glass Handrailing
NYU DC Glass Handrailing
Designed by Hickok Cole, NYU’s Constance Milstein and Family Academic Center provides a sustainable building design for this mixed-use educational facility. GGI fabricated the decorative glass for the handrailing on the interior, as well as the glass fins incorporated into the building façade. The custom glass handrail incorporates tempered glass with a custom white Alice® direct-to-glass printed design to complement the interiors and the laminated glass fins on the exterior also fabricated by GGI. Similar to the exterior glass fins that have LED lighting to enhance the aesthetics of the building, the glass handrails also incorporate LED lighting for a soothing glow.
