Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) was commissioned by the Ark Restaurant Group to create a modern renovation of the iconic Sequoia Restaurant set on the banks of the Potomac River. The design goal was to create an art gallery that also serves as a destination point bar and 860-seat restaurant. The floor-to-ceiling windows and the glass handrail provide stunning views of the river, the plaza area that includes a large modern sculpture, the Kennedy Center and other landmarks.
The Alice® white fade design fits perfectly with the artistic modern interior design and functions—offering guests the ability to enjoy the outdoor showcase while maintaining privacy and creating a unique ambience for the mezzanine level dining area.
The glass configuration includes: 3/8” low-iron | .060 Sentry Glas™ Interlayer | 3/8” low iron laminated glass with Alice® direct-to-glass printing white fade design
