Custom glass applications are ideal when it comes to new construction or renovations of residential living spaces. This project renovation includes glass doors with custom pattern designs and fades for privacy, and custom decorative artwork achieved with Alice® direct-to-glass printing.
A series of translucent white horizontal lines in varying sizes added just the amount of privacy the client desired. The feel of an open space concept was maintained making the loft apartment seem larger.
The custom fabrication capabilities of Alice® direct-to-glass printing allow us to take original artwork or photography to create one-of-a-kind designs. The image was applied to surface 2 of multiple oversize glass panels, then back-painted to make it fully opaque for the wall cladding in this primary bathroom. Alice® direct-to-glass printing of this custom photograph allowed the detail of the client's image to be shared in high-resolution, large format.
A white fade was incorporated in these sliding glass door panels to allow lighting to be shared through the upper section while creating privacy into the main living space.
