Rochester Athletic Club
GGI supplied ¼” Diamant low-iron glass with Alice® Direct-to-Glass Printing to support the renovation of the Rochester Athletic Club in Rochester, Minnesota. Fabiano Design led the renovation, while Ford Metro Glass completed the installation. GGI’s custom decorative glass enhanced brand identity and visual appeal across multiple fitness and hospitality areas.
The project incorporated a mix of back-painted and non-back-painted digitally imaged panels, creating visual depth and design flexibility. GGI collaborated with the design team to match brand colors accurately and reproduce the Rochester Athletic Club (RAC) logo using varied opacities for a dimensional, layered effect.
“The concept for this feature wall was driven by the desire to create a striking three-dimensional visual that draws members into the space. We aimed to achieve an effect that matched the dynamic energy of the activities taking place, while keeping it sleek and refined. Recognizing the client’s request for a social area where members could take photos, we saw this as the perfect opportunity to incorporate the club’s logo. To enhance the design further, integrated lighting was added, bringing the whole idea to life.”— Jennie Gil, Interior Designer, Fabiano Designs
The renovation included updated Group Exercise and Spinning Studios on the Upper Level and refreshed Free Weights, Stretching, and Large Group Exercise Rooms on the Lower Level. Fabiano Design also reconfigured the existing café to support a new layout, expanded menu offerings, and more flexible seating for club members and guests, including a new meeting space for staff and visitors.
