Direct to Glass Printing

The Alice® digital ceramic printing process allows architects, artists, and designers to manipulate art, color, light, and opacity on glass to animate space. Our staff has both the technical know-how and can-do attitude to turn ambitious ideas into built environments.

Features

Ceramic frit is fused into the glass during the tempering process a creating permanent design. Images are UV, fade, and scratch-resistant, suitable for any exterior or interior application.

No screens, setup, or storage fees; variable data and unique panel sizes, and shapes are easily incorporated into the design.

Artwork is stored electronically for ease of ordering reprints.

Digital files can be shared in these acceptable formats: PDF, TIFF, JPG, EPS, BMP, or PS.

High resolution printing up to 720 dpi, suitable for producing fine lines, typography, and complex images, as well as reproducing photographs, artwork adaptation, and material imitation.

For ease of installation, panels of multi-pane projects are printed with tiny identification tags to reduce the risk of installing out of order or in the wrong direction. These tags also make it ease to identify panels for reordering in the event replacements are ever needed.
