SECAUCUS, NJ – May 26, 2026 – GGI (General Glass International) announced a leadership transition within its Specialty Glass Division, appointing Rocco Ficara as National Sales Manager while Gus Trupiano moves into a new role as an independent sales representative.
Ficara, who joined GGI in 2025 as Product Manager, has been promoted effective June 1. In his new role, he will lead national sales efforts for the Specialty Glass Division, working closely with customers, internal teams, and independent representatives to support continued growth. Ficara brings more than 30 years of experience in the glass industry, with a background in product development, international sourcing, and global collaboration.
“Rocco has quickly become a valuable resource to our team and our customers,” said Richard Balik, executive vice president and principal at GGI. “His understanding of specialty glass products and the market supports a smooth transition and continued momentum for the division.”
This leadership change follows the transition of Gus Trupiano, who stepped down from his role as National Sales Manager after seven years of leadership within the division. Trupiano played a key role in expanding GGI’s specialty glass business and strengthening relationships across the industry.
Trupiano will continue working closely with GGI as an Independent Sales Representative for the Southeast United States through All Things Glass, LLC, a new company he is launching with his son, Stephen Trupiano.
